Enquiry forms

When you send an enquiry from our Contact or Conference page, we receive what you fill in: your name, email address and, if you add them, your company, phone number, dates and message. It reaches us as an email at bookings@kug.co.za, sent by our email service, Resend. We use it only to answer your enquiry and arrange your stay or event.

The signs in our rooms link to a page where you can send reception a private note. We receive your message, the room the sign is in, and, if you add them, a photo and your name or phone number, as an email at bookings@kug.co.za sent by Resend. We use it only to look into what you tell us and reply if you asked us to. It is never published.

Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person, not a bot, is sending the form. Cloudflare hosts this website.

Bookings

Online bookings happen on our booking page at NightsBridge, which handles your booking and payment details under its own privacy policy.

How people use this website

We use Microsoft Clarity to see which parts of our pages people click, tap and scroll to, so we can make the site easier to use. Clarity records clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, and the type of device and browser, and sets two small cookies (_clck and _clsk) so it can tell one visit from the next. It does not record what you type into our enquiry forms. Microsoft processes this data for us; see Microsoft's privacy statement (opens in a new tab). To stop it, block cookies for kug.co.za in your browser or use a tracker blocker; the site works the same without it.

Your settings

If you choose a light or dark theme, your browser remembers it. That choice stays on your device and is never sent to us.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing bookings@kug.co.za or calling 082 357 5977. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Regulator (opens in a new tab).
