Staying for work, answered

Is there power during load-shedding?

Selected rooms have backup power that keeps the lights, plugs and Wi-Fi on, and Rooms 1, 12, 13 and 14 have gas geysers that keep the showers hot. Look for the Backup power and Gas geyser tags on the rooms above, or ask us when you book.

Can I get a VAT invoice for my company?

Yes. We give a full VAT invoice for your company on every stay.

Is there a desk and fast Wi-Fi?

Most rooms have a proper work desk, and high-speed Wi-Fi is complimentary throughout the premises.

Is parking safe?

Yes. Parking is on site, with an electric fence all round and cameras.

Are taxes and fees included in your prices?

Yes. The prices on this page and on our NightsBridge booking page include VAT, and there are no booking or service fees. The price you see is the price you pay. Some other booking sites show a lower price first and add taxes and fees at checkout, so compare the final total.

Is breakfast included?

You choose when you book: every room can be booked with breakfast or room only.

What time is breakfast?

Early breakfast is served from 07:00 to 08:00. From 08:00, overnight guests can order from R&R Bistro’s full menu, Mondays included; the restaurant opens to the public at 09:00. Leaving before 07:00? Order a Road Runner breakfast the evening before and it’s delivered to you. For large groups we can arrange breakfast before 07:00 on request, but not for individual guests.

Can I have separate single beds?

Yes, in some rooms. Rooms 6 and 7 can each be made up as 3 single beds, and Rooms 13, 14 and 15 as 2 single beds. Ask us when you book.

How far is it to the CSIR and the business areas?

About 15 minutes to the CSIR, the Innovation Hub and the Ford Silverton plant, and about 10 minutes to the University of Pretoria, the Union Buildings and Pretoria CBD, outside peak traffic. See all drive times.

Can I book for a team, or a room that isn't online?

Yes. Not every room is bookable online, so for a team or when your dates look full, call 082 357 5977, WhatsApp us or email bookings@kug.co.za.

Where can I eat in the evening?

At R&R Bistro, the restaurant and bar on site, open for dinner Tuesday to Saturday (Sunday until 14:00, no dinner on Mondays). No need to drive after a long day.
